It's tidy. It's clean. There's a bunny, a duck, a cloud, and a tree. And there is absolutely nothing in here that is naughty. Trust us.
(It has the word poopy in it. And one other word that doesn't rhyme with anything.)

Why kids ask for it every night
A very proper narrator is trying to get through a very nice book. The naughty words keep sneaking in. And whoever is reading out loud has to say every single one.
The word gets cut in half by the page. Your kid will grab the corner before you do.
Every other line rhymes. This one never does. The narrator tries. He fails. He loses his mind about it.
Somebody keeps sneaking rude words into the book. The text never says who. The pictures do.

Made properly
This is printed the way the picture books on a bookstore shelf are printed: a proper case-bound cover and thick coated paper that survives being read four hundred times.

Yes. The naughtiest word in the book is "diarrhea." There's no name-calling, nothing mean, nobody gets hurt. It's a book about a fussy narrator losing a fight with a bunny.
No. All pre-orders are final. Your order is what pays the printer, so once it's in, it's in. The only exception is if we miss the ship-by date, in which case you'll be offered a full refund.
Because it doesn't exist yet. Pre-orders pay for the first print run, which is how a small book gets made as a real hardcover instead of a flimsy one. You also get the launch price, which goes up after the run.
